Now Planning: My Own Walt Disney World Vacation!

I am currently in the process of planning my own Walt Disney World vacation for February!

There are several things to consider when planning your vacation to Walt Disney World.

When planning your trip, you must consider the following things before you go:

1.  Airline tickets

2.  Car Rental

3.  Accommodations - Where to stay

4.  Food and Dining - Reservations for Dining

5.  Theme Parks and Theme Park Tickets

6.  Souvenirs

7.   Cameras and Photography

8.  Your Computer on Vacation, or getting online while on vacation.

The part that I am in the process of planning right now is Dining on Disney property.

There are many choices for dining when at Walt Disney World.   There are many restaurants and other eateries spread across all 4 Theme Parks and the many Disney Resort Hotels.    Reservations can be made with Disney Dining at Disneyworld.com up to 6 months (180 days) in advance.  In my case, I did not make my reservations that far out, since I was not exactly sure of my travel dates (in fact, they have already changed twice).   Thus far, I have made reservations at exactly 3 Disney Dining locations, which I will reveal later.    There are also many "quick service" dining locations, which do not require (or even accept) reservations, so you should always keep those in mind when planning your dining.

One of my favorite locations for quick service dining is Flame Tree Barbeque, which is one of the most delicious places to dine at Walt Disney World.  Located at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park,   Flame Tree Barbeque serves up delicious barbequed pork ribs and barbequed chicken.    This will definitely be on my itinerary when I hit that park on this vacation!

To help you with your planning the meals at Walt Disney World, or to give you an idea of what you are in for, I have included this video that I just stumbled across, from Disney Parks Videos.
